Topeka: Kansans for Life Political Action Committee (KFL PAC) has released its endorsements for state legislative races in the 2020 Republican Primary.
“KFL PAC’s endorsement process is both vigorous and grassroots driven,” stated Melissa Leach on behalf of KFL PAC. “In every corner of the state, pro-lifers are focused on electing legislators who will support the Value Them Both Amendment to the Kansas Constitution. We urge Kansans to take our voter guide to the ballot and share as widely as possible.”

The National Rifle Association PVF (PAC) has solely endorsed Tim Johnson for the Kansas 38th House Seat. Tim who is a certifed law enforcement weapons and defensive tactics instructor is considered a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment rights. A 31 year law enforcement veteran, Tim Johnson is certified in SWAT and police tactics. He has written a number of magazine articles on police weapons procedures. He is also a certifed Hunter Safety Instructor for the State of Kansas.
On July 22nd, the Kansas Bankers Association PAC announced their support for Tim Johnson's campaign for the 38th House Seat. The KBA represents 225 chartered banks from across Kansas (98% of the banking industry) that employs more than 13,000 bankers. Their bank PAC provides them an avenue to recognize candidates who recognize the value of the banking industry.
Kansas Chamber PAC Announces 2020 Primary EndorsementsTopeka, KAN. – The Kansas Chamber PAC on Wednesday announced its candidate endorsements for the 2020 Primary Election.
“As the leading voice for the state’s business community, the Kansas Chamber’s policy and legislative success would not be possible without the Kansas Chamber PAC identifying and endorsing the election of free-enterprise, pro-business legislators,” said Alan Cobb, Kansas Chamber President and CEO.
“If we want Kansas to be a top state to do business, we need to elect legislative champions who understand the fundamental role that business plays in the economic health of Kansas and who will promote legislation that lowers the cost of doing business in our great state.”
Cobb said the Chamber PAC based its 2020 primary endorsements on a variety of factors including but not limited to, candidate surveys, in-person interviews, and scorecards.

Representative Willie Dove (R), the current incumbent in the 38th Kansas House District has announced his candidacy for the 3rd Kansas Senate seat and endorsed Timothy Johnson as his conservative republican choice to replace him. Dove has previously worked with Tim in education programs for the area schools. Dove held the seat 8 years before making the decision to run for the Senate.
The NFIB Kansas Political Action Committee has endorsed Timothy Johnson for State Representative.
“Our members support candidates who support small business, and Tim Johnson clearly understands the challenges facing Kansas’s job creators,” NFIB State Director Dan Murray said. “We know Tim will continue to work to create and maintain an environment where small businesses can succeed and create jobs.”

Rep. Ron Ellis of Meriden, Kansas and representative in the district just to the northwest of the 38th, has endorsed candidate Tim Johnson. He cites Tim's government experience and criminal justice background.
