The State of Kansas redistricted in 2022 and the 38th District had several major changes which include deleting all of Johnson County and adding a small portion of northwest Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Rivers will serve as the southern border and Stranger Creek will be the western border south from Dempsey Road to K-32 highway. In Wyandotte County it will run south from the Leavenworth County Line (Marxen to Hollingsworth) and east to the Missouri River.
The 38th District is shown in light blue.
